Top Stitch Acton Ltd is a full walk-in shop for phones, tablets and laptops on Central Parade in Acton London. Here is what we handle at the counter.

Leather boots come back with new soles, and shoes worn for twenty years get their heels replaced along with in-soles, tongues and laces. Dresses taken inA dress that is too big around the waist is taken in until it sits properly. Slim on top and wider through the hips is treated as two measurements rather than one size, which is what most alterations here are about.
Water damageWaistcoats, dresses, trousers, puffer jackets, suits and work shoes all come across this counter. Nazir will say plainly what can be done with an item and when it will be ready.
Waist and hip adjustmentsCoats and jackets reshaped through the shoulder and the sleeve, with linings replaced where they have worn through. Leather is re-lined in the colour you choose and polished over the outside before it comes back.
Zip replacementSuits adjusted so the trousers and the jacket agree with each other. If the first fitting is not right, bring it back and it is put right.

Shoes and leather

Alterations are the bulk of the work here. Dresses taken in at the waist, trousers shortened, a jacket brought closer to the body. If you are one size on top and another below, that is an ordinary morning at Central Parade rather than an awkward request.

Re-solingWorn soles replaced on leather boots and on trainers, so the pair goes back on the shoe rack looking close to new.
Heel replacementRun down heels rebuilt on shoes that have been worn for years and are worth keeping.
